Landscape and Traveling

I was looking forward to focus on landscape photography during my recent visit to Egypt …And i had one issue that i couldn`t control “WEATHER” !
When you are traveling you are limited with time…There are many places to see and you can’t change your plans every time for the sake of weather !
I was looking to shot the Pyramids, Castle of Salahuddin Ayyubi and many other places … dreaming about blue sky and cloud.. but nothing appear in the sky :/
The weather trick me :/ when i arrive to Egypt the weather was amazing and at the end of the trip and on the dates that i had plans was sunny and dull :/

engineeroo: Actually that what I end up with .. pictures to be B&W or abstract .. i change to plan B when plan A was ruin :/

first of all welcome back….
second,
it is nice to have the ideal weather and the perfect composition ( clouds, clear sky, sun light stripes… etc) but during traveling try to work things around… how???
when I think if Egypt I think of something old… the sky is clear then think of B&W…. when you are out on the afternoon think of B&W or other filtering colors…. just don’t let the weather control you… you ( photographer) should control the weather…
don’t you agree?!
